| Hard Drive ScanDisk Pro is a handy freeware system utility that will keep your PC running nice and smooth. As its name suggests, it scans clusters, folders and individual files on each drive of the computer. Specifically, ScanDisk looks for cluster errors and other discrepancies on the hard drive. If there's a problem on a disk, the program will find and fix it. An interesting feature is that the program can look for physical damage on a disk. Unlike other utilities, ScanDisk can acknowledge inherent hardware problems. |
